The NH-L9x65 SE-AM4 is a low-profile air cooling unit engineered for systems built on the AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms. Its compact 65 mm total height is optimized for integration into constrained small form-factor chassis, minimizing conflicts with surrounding motherboard components such as tall RAM modules and PCIe slots. Heat transfer relies on four 4 mm copper heat pipes that extend from the copper base plate into a densely packed aluminum fin stack. Nickel plating covers both the heat pipes and the base, enhancing thermal conductivity and surface integrity.

Thermal management is accomplished by a single 92 mm PWM-controlled fan utilizing an SSO2 bearing for long-term operational stability. The fan operates across a rotational speed range of 600 RPM minimum to a maximum of 2500 RPM, producing 57.5 m³/h of airflow and a static pressure of 2.11 mmH₂O. At peak configuration, the acoustic output reaches 23.6 dB. The included Low-Noise Adaptor (LNA) limits rotational speed to 1800 RPM, reducing the maximum noise level to 14.8 dB for quieter operation. Installation is streamlined using the manufacturer’s specialized SecuFirm2 mounting system, specifically tailored for AM4 and AM5 socket compatibility.
