VGA (Video Graphics Array) cables are an obsolete but still used interface for transferring analogue video between a computer and a monitor. These cables were widely used before the advent of digital interfaces such as HDMI and DisplayPort. VGA cables support multiple resolutions, but their picture quality is not as sharp as digital cables. Today, VGA cables are mostly used in older monitors, projectors and devices that do not support the new digital interfaces.
